Job Title: PCB Designer

Position Description:

  • Underlimited supervision, assists engineers in the dsign and development of highly complex, state of the art products, including but not limited to detailed schematic capture, detailed layouts of printed curcuit boards (PCB), bring-up and debug of PCB prototypes.

Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with engineers to develop schematic diagrams and printed circuit board layouts.​
  • Provides complete documentation package, may include detailed electrical and/​or electro/​mechanical drawings of components and assemblies.​
  • Participates in the design of test systems and fixtures to facilitate manufacturing.​
  • Creates new or modified designs for new or existing products.​
  • Creates and updates Bills of Material (BOMS).​
  • Creates and updates schematic symbols and printed circuit board footprints.​
  • Coordinates and works effectively with other internal departments affected by design development.​
  • Supports all document control functions for new product development.​

Requirements:

  • AS degree or equivalent training with concentration in drafting/​design plus 5 years related experience
  • 2 years or more working experience using OrCAD and Allegro.​
  • Ability to apply advanced design techniques and determine methods and procedures on new assignments.​
  • Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing materials and techniques, electro/​mechanical characteristics of various circuit board materials.​
  • System design and manufacturing processes.​
  • Advanced math, verbal and written communication skills.​
  • Ability to create and verify the accuracy of schematic symbols and printed circuit board patterns and footprints for inclusion to CAD libraries.​
  • Skilled in CAD based printed circuit design for Analog, Digital and RF circuits, using both surface mount and lead-through technology, mechanical assembly techniques.​
  • Skilled in High Speed Digital Design with previous successful layout experience of high speed digital circuits preferred:
    • High speed FPGA circuit design techniques
    • SERDES Signals of > 6GHz
    • Use of high pin count BGAs (>1000 pins)
    • High layer count boards (>20 layers)
    • Impedance controlled traces
    • High speed connectors

Job Title:  Supply Chain Buyer/Planner

Position Description:   

There is a currently an urgent need for a Buyer/Planner with experience in the electronics industry (EMS or OEM) to join a fast growing organization on a full-time basis.​  This position’s primary responsibilities will be to negotiate and manage procurement for electronics and mechanical components ensuring that materials, schedules, services and related resources are planned and coordinated to support business needs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, adjust and optimize product and component inventory levels and turns to coincide with customer demand, lead-time changes, and production forecasts.​
  • Proactively seek cost reduction opportunities with suppliers.
  • Coordinate quality issues with suppliers as required and effectively manage returns to supplier.​
  • Proactively and routinely drives spending analysis activities, identifying strategic sourcing opportunities within assigned commodities in conjunction with supply chain initiatives.​
  • Understands and utilizes strategic sourcing processes to select suppliers based on the best combination of cost, capability, quality, reliability and delivery of supplier to strict measurements and controls.​
  • Remains current on economic, industrial and other trends that affect market and prices.​
  • Perform problem solving and troubleshooting when problems arise with purchase orders; resolve receipt and invoice discrepancies and escalate supplier management issues to department heads in a timely manner.​
  • Create and manage purchase orders, request for quotes and request for proposals including scope of work, technical documents, pricing, procedures, cost, deliverables, and key milestones.​ 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 2-4 years relevant work experience in supply chain planning and procurement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and database software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, statistical analysis, time management, human relations, and organizational skills.​
  • Candidate will need to possess strong organizational, analytical and motivational skills along with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, performance-based environment.​
  • Qualified candidates will have experience in offshore sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing.
  • Ability to travel on occasional basis.
  • US Citizen or permanent residents only.
